portable CD player BT compatible for 2019 Sierra

Recommended Posts

CD's can be converted to MP3's (or one of the other truck readable formats) using one of many programs.

(including itunes which is (or was) available to download/install on a windows machine as well as apples)

Is it worth the effort?

The files can be stored on a usb, or your phone.

Songs per GB depends on file compression selected, but as an example I have some 40 or 45 hours of music taking up about 12GB on a 16GB usb.

An album is somewhere are 40 to 50 minutes.  iirc, I have about 50 or 55 on one.

Much simpler than carrying a CD collection around

USB / flash drive /thumb drive in high capacity used to be kinda expensive.

Now they are cheap.

Ok thanks guys . I'm new to this high tech stuff , I'm old and not up to date on a lot of these things , I grew up on rotary phones and 45's .

So should I go with 2.0 or 3.0 and say 32 gb storage for some hours of music only ?  As with everything these days there are too many choices and I just want to make the best one .

I have about 55 albums on about 12 GB of storage.

Gives 40-something hours of music.

Judge the size you need accordingly.

Either usb 2 or 3 will be fine.

I like these just cuz the size makes it less likely they will get physically damaged in truck (less sticking out to catch stuff). The trade off is they are a little more difficult to get out....

About the same size as the receiver's for a BT mouse.

Probably other brands as well that have them in this format.
