running board mounting points

I have a 2019 Canyon extended cab, long bed.  I am trying to figure out since the wheel base is the same as a crew cab short bed are the mounting points for the running boards the same or different.  I found a pair I like over at amazon, but the seller said the mounting locations are different between the crew and extended cabs.

The extended cab bed is shorter, so it will likely have different mounting points than the crew cab.
