Alarm

I posted this on FB and got no replies. 

 

My truck has to sit outside for awhile.  Is there a alarm that uses the stock fob, or is there a alarm that replaces the stock fob with theirs?  Basically, I need a alarm, I do not want to carry 2 fobs.  Pic is of new project in the garage.

There are a few out there from Omega and Viper. Now, my opinion is alarms are completely pointless. We have caught 15yr olds using a couple computer/scanner devices they order from china and get right in and driving in less than a minute. Plus most people just dont give a crap if they hear or even see someone trying to steal a car. Just have good insurance and dont worry about it, or live in a place to not worry about it.

Great looking project, 85, 86, or 87?

 

Have you thought about a dashcam, or cameras on your house?

 

We use Comcast?Xfinity and the resolution is pretty good, you could certainly make out someone's face if they were messing with your truck.
