Adjustment of 2012 Texas Edition front door on standard 2013 Silverado

I put a 2012 Texas edition driver side front door on a standard 2013 Silverado. Should these two parts be compatible? 

 

It is pinching at the front of the door and keeping it from closing. The front of the door is making contact with the inside of the front fender panel.

 

Is there some adjustment that can be done to give the door spacing to clear the front fender?

Did you change hinges. What's the gap like at the b pillar? Were either in an accident?
