Remove Dome Light?

Hey all,

 

Just got my truck back from the dealer for the leaking rear window. Upon getting it home, I noticed when I slide the sunroof shade (part that looks like the headliner) towards the very end it seems to contact something in the headliner. By the looks of it, it’s the dome light.

 

Rather than taking it to the dealer which I don’t trust at this point, is the dome light just held in by clips? My guess is the sunroof shade is just contacting some wires from when they dropped the rear of the headliner to do the window.

FWIW ... visit some the LED light makers. Someone has a video to install dome lights Im sure ..

 

Try diode dynamics.

Had my Dome Light out recently.  It's two metal clips into the roof, and four plastic clips to retain the headliner.  Here is a pic from the back...
