papy Posted March 3, 2020 Posted March 3, 2020 Hello, i am planing on getting a leveling kit for my 2018 GMC 2500HD 6.6 for those of you who have a leveling kit installed which one did you go with and why? i am looking at one of these systems. 1. cognito Item #: 110-90768 2. ready lift item # 66-3012 3. suspension maxx item # SMX-GM-HD-STAGE1 what i am am mostly wondering and concerned about is the ride quality and axle/ball joint angles after the installation. also if anything else any of you members have noticed after that fact that you were not satisfied with please share. also I've watched different youtube videos of some brands showing the UCA making contact with the factory droop stops. i definitely want to steer clear of these problems... thank you in advance
Big Whiskey Posted March 22, 2020 Posted March 22, 2020 Most upgraded leveling kits are about the same. Any kit that has new keys, longer shocks (or shock extensions), new UCA's, and differential spacers will be fine. With any of those, you can raise the front about 3" without really needing to go to a full blown lift kit.
CenMichDuramax Posted April 15, 2020 Posted April 15, 2020 I have the suspension maxx kit and have no complaints.
