Amp steps

I’m replacing my factory steps with some Amp powered ones and can’t seem to find a good location to secure the controller. Anyone have a picture how they secured thiers?

Mine fits very snugly right next to the passenger side battery box. It is shaped like that is where they intended it to go. I have 5000 miles now and it has not moved at all.

That’s where the instructions have it going, just seemed a bit tight for my liking

It does show there in the instructions, but I agree it was too tight for me. and after it was in there, it would be extremely hard to remove that cover again without cutting the ties for the controller. I mounted mine to the wire loom and bracket that are just in front of the box there. Ill take a pic in a bit. I have almost 15,000miles on mine and perfect.

New guy here...We just installed the amp steps in a 2020 GMC Sierra 1500 CrewCab 4x4...just used provided zip ties and had plenty of room. Very impressed with the quality of the product and provided wiring harness...well thought out!
