Wind bent door

My wife was getting in the passenger side of my 2014 1500 Silverado and the wind caught the door. We could here something bend. On the hour and a half ride home the door did not seal properly and there was a suction that made our ears hurt. I think that this is the picture of the bent part. Does anyone know what this part is? Has anyone had this happen to their doors? Is it an easy fix?

It's called a door check. Yes it's easy to replace

Look at the hinges, wouldn't surprise me if they bent.  Just that door check pulling out too far won't prevent the door from closing properly (assuming the O.P. got it in the hole it goes into).
