Hi - I just had a MBRP Cat-back dual side exhaust put on. Overall, it sounds okay. At least it gives me some sound compared to the stock exhaust. I disabled AFM to keep it in 8cyl mode. My question is - the transmission shift is so short, it seems like it constantly bogs down and with the new exhaust, it makes it more obvious and sounds worse. Do people go back to stock exhaust because of this? Is there anything I can do to “fix” or help the problem? I have the Edge CTS2 Tuner, but stopped short of custom tunes. Any help or advice is appreciated.

My knowledge of the CTS2 is pretty slim but I'd venture to guess that it likely can't do custom TCM calibrations.

Someone with HP Tuners that does custom tuning could do that. They could spread out the shifts, change the shift times and mph settings so that it stays in gears longer instead of shifting every 8-12mph like they do in stock form.
