Headlight and parking

Hi. . i have a 08 silverado 1500.  My headlights are hids. Im only having issues with the passenger side. Sometimes headlight does not come on and the parking light will. Sometimes they both are on. Then, all of sudden the headlight will turn off.  I have changed ballast and hid bulb. And the connector also. Any thoughts

Take a test light to the connector at the headlight and check for power and ground for said lights. The respective lights have common splice points in the front, so if one side is working and the other isn't, and it's intermittent, it's almost certain to be your aftermarket headlights/ hids.

Had it tested after replacing connector..was good..but I even swapped out ballast and bulb...
