2014-2015 silverado z71 grill mounts

hello, new to the gm forum. i got a 2014 silverado about 8 months back and was looking for a new grille. turns out that the z71 and the regular LTs have different grille mounts and won’t line up with brackets on a aftermarket grille that would fit an LT, but not a z71. i was wondering why this would be the case and is there anything i can do about it? such as finding an aftermarket grille that fits the z71
