I think there are a lot of "poser" trucks out there nowadays.  Personally I can't see doing to my truck like the paint scheme on the Ford SD on the cover of the latest Four Wheeler.

I really hate guys who never drive their trucks.  Specially when they cheeck the weather channel 3 times during the day to see if its going to rain.... I think even if a truck is built to go off road and doesn't it should be atleast a daily driver or all out bogger/rock crawler.  Just my take after seeing so many damn trailer queen's in mag's and around town.

I get kind of aggrevated about people who won't drive their truck in or shortly after a rain.  But then again, I guess if they can afford to have that extra vehicle that only moves in sunshine they can do what they want with it.

ME TOO

My mom in particular belongs in this group.  She had me drive her to work once last wk cause she washed her blazer 2 days prior and it rained the night before.  It was dry out too

Yeah, I don't understand it.  My truck has never spent time in a garage.  It is out in the elements all the time.  I couldn't even fit my truck in the garage if I wanted to anyways.  But I'd rather just leave it out to get covered in dust and everything else.  One of the best times to go out driving is right after rain, it is so much fun.   :(

C'mon now, even though that's a show truck and has more chrome than anything I've ever seen, that vinyl he put on there is very patriotic.

But, I think that show trucks are cool to look at, but totally impractical for everyday use.

Oh I don't mind parking them in the garage if you're lucky enough to have one.  I just can't stand it when people won't drive their vehicle because they're afraid it will get dirty, garage kept or not.

I think you should drive a vehicle like it was meant to be

BMW=curvy country roads at high speed

Camaro and Corvette= Drive it hard and fast(but still take care of it)

Trucks: haul, tow, drive. Be afraid of NOTHING. (Including speed limits :( )

that's what my on-going truck project is all about. I want a truck with truck ground clearace, that can corner better than stock, has more traction than stock, can run the 1/4 at around 14 or less, can hit 60 in under 7,  has more horsepower and torque than should be legally allowed, can still tow its maximun rating, and can still hual its maximun payload, and has a perfect exterior and interior. That's my idea of a Show Truck. When will mine be done? Never, so to speak. But I hope to achieve my goals before 8 years is up. yup, one of those loooooong projects. I don't have 15 grand laying around! :(

There is nothing wrong with having a car or truck that is a garage queen.  I always enjoy seeing a nice clean, well kept vehicle.  Maybe it is just me, but I wouldn't go way out of the way to keep one from getting dirty.  I bought my cars and trucks to drive.  I just drive some more than others.  The truck is my daily driver, the cars are pleasure vehicles.  I don't stress if any of them get wet or dirty.  With that said, the cars have sort of become garage queens.  Both have only been driven in the rain once or twice.   :(

Oh, I wouldn't mind parking in a garage too.  I'd love to have one big enough for all my tools, truck, tv, radio, etc to work in and not worry about what the weather is like.  But for now, my base housing carport will have to do.  ???

Whatever the weather is, I have to drive it, so I'm not worried about it being in the elements.  If I had a big enough garage, my wife would never see me.  :(

Yeah I would love to have a BIG garage to have tools, a lift, and all that great stuff for my truck.  But I know that will not happen anytime soon, if at all.
