No reverse range shift inhibited

2005silverado 8.1l 2500hd. Allison Tran won’t go into reverse Fluid clean no metal chunks clean plug new filters new n s b u switch on outside of Tran on drive side clean plug. New ignition switch. New fluids but no reverse range shift still on dash. Goes into drive Motor has a p t o unit on it city own truck before I did if it means anything.

  Ok well I guess Lake disagrees with me on a few points. I call oil consumption pretty basic. Rudimentary. He calls it "really complicated." I think 1qt consumed in 3k miles is a lot. He says that's normal. In 22 minutes, he'll use his natural talent to explain oil consumption to anyone watching this video. He covers everything from obvious engine damage to how normally functioning healthy engines consume oil by design. Lake explicitly states how you drive will impact oil consumption. Shut up and watch:

  Check for broken bolts holding the exhaust manifolds to the heads, common problem. Dorman makes a repair piece if you find you have broken 1s and don't want to do the surgery to replace them

  My dealer says it's the 6.6 from the HD modified for the 1500's. So, my money's on the 6.7.
