Exhaust tips for Z71

I tore into it and got some measurements and pictures.

initial pipe is 2" x 2.75" oval at the very tip, about 1.3" in it goes to a perfect circle of 2.5" but also the pipe is angled downwards, so if you put a tip on it it will be pointing down unless you made some kind of pie cut and welded it on. But, if you follow the pipe back to where it goes flat, it looks somewhat level with the bumper cutouts. Only thing is that the hangers are in the way. The passenger side looks like you can cut it just before the hanger and possibly keep the passenger hanger, but the driver side is going to have to get removed and rewelded on. It's in a completely different location so that makes no sense.

I ended up ordering two exhaust tips at 2.5" inlet x 4" outlet x 18" in total length. That should be more then enough to span the gap with a little bit of tip poke like I wanted. They would get here around the first week of August.

I can only post one picture cause of the size, but you can see the S bend in it and the hanger location. That picture is of the passenger side

Round tips have been installed in a rectangular hole, and i'm actually very happy with the outcome. I did have to make a exhaust hanger for the driver side exhaust, but besides that the install was fairly effortless. The tip size was 2.5" Inlet 4" Outlet 18" Long. I wish I ordered maybe a 2.75 inlet, because it was a STRUGGLE to get these to fit overtop of the stock exhaust. I figured the ID was 2.5" and the OD of the stock pipe was 2.5", so I figured it would slip on, I was wrong haha. It did change the sound quite a bit and im very happy with it.

I also debadged it while I was waiting for the tips to arrive. Very happy to get that massive z71 badge off my fender.
