Largest Tire Size with 1.5” Level and Stock 20s

I’ve got a Silverado 1500 2019 LTZ with the 20” wheels. I recently installed a MotoFab 1.5” level in the front. I’m interested in getting new tires (probably the new Toyo Open Country AT3, since I can get dealer pricing). My question is, what’s the largest tire size I can fit on this truck with the level and stock wheels? I’ve ready quite a few different sizes that people say they fit and other people say they don’t. Preferably I’d like to get as close to a 35” tire as possible, whatever width is fine as long as it doesn’t rub. What do y’all recommend? Also, how are y’all recalibrating the speedometer since there aren’t any tuners available?

Most likely a 275/65R20 which is same width as the stock 275/60 (check yours, this is Z71 stock)but an inch larger in diameter (34” vs 33”). Most are saying this fits with a 2” no problem and I’ve been hoping that’s the same with 1.5” bc that’s all I want the front raised. Problem is 1.5” is much less common than 2-2.5”. I would prefer to do zero trimming at all. 35” is too big unless you do major trimming is my guess.

Just went out to the truck turned here to full Lok and took pics.

I couldn't find my measuring tape, but I did find some Sharpies, the distance at the closest point is 2 sharpies wide, so a little over an inch.

bear in mind I did this alone and it was not possible to get the truck to hold lock stops without holding the wheel in place.

Also got shots of the control arms. Full lock left then full lock right. The upper one is awfully close.

I honestly don't see you fitting any wider of a tire on the stock wheel without hitting that upper control arm when turning.

2020 GMC Elevation P275/60R20 or 33X10.8R20

You aren't fitting a 35" with only 1.5" lift.  285/60r20 is probably the tallest size, and you will probably still have to do a mudflap mod.  295/55r20 will probably be the widest size.

Sorry for the delay. Been hectic with this virus. Yeah I have the motofab 1.5. It’s currently pouring here but I’ll grab a pic once it stops

I figured I wasn’t fitting a 35. Was just saying i want to get as close to that as possible. My 2012 Tahoe had 285/60R22 on them at stock height (non-Z71). I’m thinking either 275/55R20 or 285/60R20 depending on how much trimming i want to do

I have a 295/60/20 (Basically a 34") Nitto Ridge Grapplers on mine. I have since got rid of the 1.5 level and added the Eibach pro lift coils and shocks. I had to pin the inner fender well back a tad but had to trim nothing nor any scrubbing after doing so. I am running the OE RST wheels on mine.

What height setting are you on?  Have any photos?
