LED headlights on lower trims

I did see short post about retro fits but it ended without really a lot of alternatives...

 

I have seen some youtube vids where guys just pop in LED in their trucks but read elsewhere where there may be some issues.....the aim, will it trigger anything inside DIC center or other?....or is it really as simple as just popping them in.....I don't have any experience with lights but hate the halogens, some kits are $40, some $100-200 and probably go on up from there....also any reputable brands?.....surely there are guys on here with quite a bit of experience and have LT, custom or WT trims

 

it is sad you have to get an LTZ to get LED but on GMC an SLE will have em…..50k truck and my headlights suck, what are you gonna do, lol.....thanks

yeah almost got GMC and lights was a plus as well as bed liner.....but didnt have 2nd convienance pkg
