I'm going to say no.

There are two different generations of 454's between 1986 and 1999. There is a engine that from the 80's up to 1991 and in 1991 they got new crankshafts, rods and cylinders headers. Then that engine ran all the way to 1995 and was discontinued because 1996 they became vortec engines.

 

The vortec engines were really updated with new cylinder heads, multi port fuel injections and a new roller camshaft and valve train parts.
