Torsion Bar Crossmember

I am changing my torsion bar crossmember and wondering if a 2003 avalanche 2500 has the same crossmember holding the keys as my 2004 silverado 2500 HD?

Probably your best bet is to do a bunch of measuring, and then compare the parts against one another when you get them both off.

They are NOT the same crossmember.  2500HD and light duty 2500/Avalanche 2500 both have different crossmembers.  The HD one is larger and mounts totally different to the frame compared to the Avalanche 2500/light duty 2500 pickups.  HD member also has two different options based on transmissions.

Okay, thank you! I probably have to order a brand new one, since there are not many parts trucks here in Norway.

You might want to try online used-part places for it as well, as given the age of the vehicle, many part for it are obsolete.
