Motor Oil Prices Going Up?

Maybe nothing at all.

I check motor oil prices online at Walmart regularly. That's where I buy my motor oil. In the past they would drop prices for a few days from the normal of $22++ to $17++. About a $5 dollar savings per jug. So I would check and wait until they dropped the price and buy 6 - 5 quart jugs.

Checked the price of Castrol Edge 5w30 Motor oil yesterday, Walmart online. Was $22.38 forever. Went to $39.99. This is what my brother in law uses so I check it also. 

The Castrol Magnatec  5W30 that I use in my truck was the same price as it has been. $19.96 a jug. ($31.99 at ORiellys) Hasn't been discounted for quite a while.

The Castrol Edge 0W20 I use in the new Honda $22.38 a jug. Hasn't been discounted for a while.

 

They deliver to my rural mountain door within 5 days if I spend $35.

I've been getting 12 qt boxes of Mobil 1 for $20 at Walmart.

The oil is in a bag like a wine box with a spigot.

I can't imagine getting this any cheaper anywhere on earth.
