Silverado lifted height

Hey everyone I’m new here and hoping you can help me answer some questions I have. I have a 2017 Silverado 1500 and I want to lift it but am trying to figure out what size I should get. I’m going back and forth between a 4 and a 6 inch lift. For those of you who have those sizes, how tall does your truck sit? How many inches from the ground to the fender well?

It's pretty easy to figure this out going by a stock 32" tire+-

4" lift and say 33" tires= roughly 4.5" taller. 4" from the lift, 1/2" from the tire.

6" lift and 35's would be around 7.5" taller. 6"from the lift, 1.5" from the tire.

Mine is lifted 9" with 37's

It's 11.5" -12" taller.

The offset is what really matters, since mine is same height but sticking out still rubs at full lock. They chargIng me 400$ to cut more and clean up what the rim shop cut

This is all I had to cut . Plastic on valance . Lower portion removed. I have tons of room.
20x10 -19 offset 37x12.50
No rubs except in reverse full lock hitting a bump.178e437b4d3e0040b7eb3762caf06701.jpg3d4a5b886d28a56c03aff164c7c9905e.jpg

Mine is 24x14 offset was 76 (idk negative or positive ?) 37x13.5 it definitely rubs at full lock and when turning 3/4 lock if that make sense ? 3A21E7DB-486E-4887-9FF0-84BEFA61BA54.thumb.jpeg.95e60a6f37dba9fe00f3fdcf61eb1a88.jpeg

They don’t look actually look this far out in person ? it looks perfect for some reason this picture makes them look half way sticking out ? 6CD65505-8A66-40DA-A436-DF80AD9F9744.thumb.jpeg.99807d374cc3a85339d6b89be347109c.jpeg

Be aware of the fact that if your involved in an accident with a modified vehicle you can be held liable even if not  at fault. Your insurance company more than likely will cancel your policy for cause and just walk away. The  damages and jury awards are then your responsibility.

I’ve never heard of this, what insurance does this? What about lifted vehicles that are from the dealership?

Proably best to just give your agent a call.
