Thanks! I did use rattle can paint and was very impressed with the quality. I bought it from R&E paint supply. Quick shipping and very good paint. I did 2 coats of primer, 3 coats of color match paint, and 4 coats of clear.

How did you remove the inserts to place the custom ones? i'm trying to figure it out without messing the outer pieces up

I used a razor blade to get under it enough to lift it, then grabbed it with a needle-nose and pulled it the rest of the way off. If you do it very carefully, you can do it without scratching anything.

Anyone got a video or a link to how to remove the fender badge displacement inserts?  Understand they are a sticker, but want to know where to start before committing.

I found a great American flag replacement, but want to know exactly how to remove the old one before I invest in the new ones.

Most of these are to be just laid as an overlay on the stock emblem.  I had a custom set made and that is all there is to it.  If you want to remove the inlay, you have to take off the entire fender emblem to access it from the rear
