Any idea the best way of doing this? i used a pac previously in my 2008 gmc. i dont see that they make one yet. My amp is capable of using the speaker input as a remote turn on but i dont want to splice into the factory speaker wire.

LLJ Customs makes a t-harness that will connect right into your factory plugs behind the glove box.

Lmk how your gonna get around the amplified chimes, turn signal and front and backup sensors if you got them.

I know you said you don’t want to splice...

however, if you pop up the plastic on your front  door sill on the passenger side (in the harness) you’ll find a twisted pair of blueblack and white. Those feed the rear door speaker on the right door.

on the driver’s side they’re Green and greenblack (if I remember correctly). They feed the left rear. They’re easy to tap into for a line out converter.

that’s what I did. It worked out great.

My current Acadia has the factory Bose system with 10 speakers, great for OEM, but not as good as custom :thumb:I hated the 6 speaker base system in both my previous Acadias. You can not replace 8 ohm speakers with 4 ohm speakers. Short time frame, okay... but you will burn out the amplifier shortly. I was told about this by a friend who is engaged in event staging services and often meets with problems in his car with audio systems and in his work. The amplifier is not designed to run at 4 ohm and will have problems delivering enough power to those speakers. Eventually you will fry the amplifier.

OK, so I just purchased a 2020 GMC Sierra SLT with the Bose Premium Sound system.  At this point, this is where I am.

Considering these speakers and enclosure: > https://www.jlaudio.com/collections/car-audio-stealthbox/products/sb-gm-slvcc4-12tw3-d8-car-audio-stealthbox-94668

* A little pricey, but hey JL Audio quality

With this AMP: > https://www.jlaudio.com/products/xd400-4v2-car-audio-xdv2-amplifiers-98602

I need the schematic for the Bose Premium Sound system, what model Bose, information (all I can get), to include if possible the stock amp.  Does this Head have a low signal output (for subs)???

Something else I found which was really interesting is (not to use the rear speakers for signal input)
