Need some help I have a 97 Chevy 1500 that the battery is dead in couple days. I have disconnected my neg cable and put meter inline and found that I 9.75amp draw when truck is off started to pull fuses under hood got to the battery 50a mega fuse dropped down to .750 pulled ecm b dropped to .5.

Put 50a fuse back in went to interior panel found t-case fuse pulling over 2amp

Power accessories pulling over 2amp

radio pulling over 2amp

Security fuse 21 has 1amp

I have no clue where else to look for these draws I have almost unplugged every module Under dash that I can get to and only gotten it down to 6.5 with the aftermarket radio unplugged and some blue module with green connector unplugged.
Also unplugged 4wd actuator and push button no change to draw.
Any and all help would be great.

thanks

You need to find a schematic for the circuitry. Otherwise you are shooting in the dark. At first glance I would say to remove fuse box under the hood and check for corrosion underneat. I had a town and country that was draining the battery and I search for weeks looking for th eculprit. Turned out it was corrosion underneath the fuse box under the hood was shorting different things together. Funny thing is that everything worked. But the radio time would reset sometimes
