Changing GM Performance Exhaust Muffler?

[Back in Black AT4]

I've been thinking of changing the factory GM Performance Exhaust muffler only to a Borla ATAK or S-Type...has anyone swapped out just the muffler? Is it a direct swap or is there more pipe needed?

All of Borla exhausts are direct fit and in my opinion the best exhausts in the industry.  If they are not direct fit it will state that in the add like their universal mufflers.  Your GM Performance Exhaust was made by Borla.  I have the Borla Touring which is a quieter than the ATAK but everything fit fine for me.

Not sure on this but I think It voids your warranty if you change it without taking it to a GM dealer
