2014-2015 GMC Sierra Intellilink Upgrade

Hello folks, 

 

I have a 2014 GMC Sierra SLE, I want Android Auto (or apple car play which is not available on 2014-2015)  but, I want the OEM look and do not want to change screen just the Intellilink box.  I was wondering if I could found a 2016-2019 OEM Intellilink   or if I should go with after market? If I need to use after market, any  suggestions?

What size screen do you have now? Easiest way is to upgrade you HMI from the 2.0 to the newer 2.5 version which will give you AA and CarPlay.

Check this site. Pick and chose what you want. They will probably advise to get a new HMI and a new radio unit. Price is up there, but it comes with a warranty for the new modules. The plus is when you activate your new modules on SIRIUS XM you get 3 months trial.
