Recently my 2015 Chevy Silverado 1500 with the 5.3L has begun to crank slowly, or not crank at all, on the first start of the day.

Battery is less than a year old.

When I hit the key on the first start of the day, nothing will happen. I have to cycle the key and on the second attempt, it cranks slow for a moment and then picks up and starts. Subsequent starts seem normal. It's only if the truck has been sitting for 12+ hours.

This is the same truck I had a bent pushrod on back in February presumably due to a stuck AFS lifter in #1 cylinder. We never found out why and it has been running well for the most part since. My worry is this is a sign of the engine getting ready to let me down again, though the truck never gave me any indication of problems when it failed the first time.
