I just got a 2019 Silverado trail boss.  It came with a sports bar and a hard bed cover. The issue is I cant open the bed cover because the sports bar is in the way. Since it angles in, the 1st flap of the bed cover hits it and wont open.  The guy at Chevy said that even a soft cover wont work because those tracks stick further out on the side and it would be pinned under the sports bar mount. I'm not really looking to spend 2 grand on a retractable one. Any suggestions?

You still won't be able to open all the sections, but what about a hard folding tonneau that mounts with rails inside the edge of the bed?  I'm thinking something the UnderCover Ultra Flex that I have.  The mounting rails are inside the bed rail and only the weather seal sits on top of the bed rail.

I"m no expert, but I'd guess you need to choose between retractable tonneau with the sports bar, any tonneau you want but no sports bar or some limitation that the sports bar imposes on the tonneau.

I just installed an Access original roll-up on my AT4.  It installs on the inside of the bed rails and rolls up like 6-8" tall .

Unless I'm missing something, I don't see why that wouldn't work on yours and they are less than $500.

Thank you.  What I have now is a hard folding tonneau cover. But as you said I cant open the cover all the way.  Only the first flap will open.  It looks like I have to get rid of the the sports bar even though I really like the way it looks.

Chevy dealer said that for the 2019 they don't make the rollup covers that go inside the bed.  it will sit under where the sports bar is screwed into the bed.

Your dealer is mistaken as various aftermarket companies have rollup tonneau covers for the 2019+ GM trucks.

Check out the websites for Access, Truxedo, etc to find one that would work with your application.

I have a Truxedo Edge for my 2020 TB.

My Access Cover fits inside perfectly.  Now if the Sports Bar mounts to the inside of the bed in any way, it might interfere with the way the cover mounts.  Without a picture of the mounting hardware it's hard to know.  I have seen some posts from Colorado and Canyon owners that have installed a soft roll up cover with the sports bar.

Here's a pic of mine installed with the carbon pro bed and it's inside the bed rails.

Thank you. And this should fit a 2019 Silverado Trail Boss?  Can I have the part number please?

Thank you.  I called Truxedo and explained what I needed and they were able to recommend something for me.  So I ordered it and we'll see if that softcover works.

The soft rollup tonneau from GM Accessories will work. It's about $500.

I was looking at the Chevy soft roll-up cover the other day. How do you like it?

On the Chevy Accessories website, it looks lower profile (like a Truxedo LoPro) than it does on your video.

I don't like it, which is why I didn't get it. I have the Rough Country hard trifold. I wanted something more secure and water resistant than a soft rollup tonneau. That's also not my video. It's one I came across a few months back while researching tonneau covers that'll work with the sport bar. Seeing this thread reminded me of the video.

I have the cover from Chevy , it came with the truck and it leaks and the dealer doesn't warranty it from leaking into the truck .
