Electrical issue when motor swap

So I got another motor for my 14 LTZ and pulled the 250k mile motor and put a way lower mile motor in it. Didn’t go bigger. Same motor only with less miles. Did the dod delete wile it was out. Installed and now I hook the battery cables up and horn alarm wipers washer fluid squirts. How do I fix it. Sat for about a month and a half waiting on pushrods for the delete.

sounds like an electrical problem.  perhaps you damaged one of the harnesses while removing/installing the engines?  Or didn't get everything hooked up right after getting the engine in.

Could the bcm be an issue with it being unhooked for that long. The locks windows and key fobs do not work either. Will start and dies after a few seconds.

I have had nothing but problems out of this truck since day one. It has already had three transmissions done.

What it tuned for the AFM delete??

 

The computer can be without power for pretty much ever, buying used computers that are sitting on a junkyards shelf is done all the time.

 

I'd suspect a bad battery or poor connection somewhere is other things don't work. And it's possible a security relearn is needed.
