the point is Honda's are built right!!  they say if you forget to put oil in a honda motorcycle motor, nothing will happend to the crankshafts they can go foreve. those Jap's are amaizing !

I once bought a civic with a hole in the block. A rob had snapped.

I was getting the motor replaced. I wanted to see how long it would last. I started it up at like 9-10am and let it idle. Was still going at 3pm, there was literally no oil. I shut it off because it was just wasting gas.

So based on this experience I assume you have drained all your oil and are saving big time??

Another memory trigger. Many years ago before Amsoil even a traveling salesman stop at our shop. He had a trailer with a 4 cylinder engine bolted to it. He started it and lowered the oil pan with a crank and let it idle away. Probably an half an hour or better it ran. The product he was peddling was slick 50. My father was an STP believer. He put it in everything. The amount depending on what it was. Even in the radiator. After that demonstration slick 50 went into every engine until we started using Amsoil.
