Rear drum brakes

Hey guys, ok i have an 86 chevy c10 i. Working on my brakes ive replaced everything lines, master cylinder, porportioning valve, cylinders. The problem im having is when i hit my brakes it will make a pop sound the my drivers side tire drum brake will just drag  i can take it off adjust it a littlr will work for a few days then itll happen all over again, reverse is fine, just happens when i drive forward a few feet then pop then drags, any help would be appreciated

Buy the spring kit that goes to the rear drum brakes.

I did it fixed it for about a week then started again

Did you replace the self-adjuster?  Maybe something out of whack with that?

Yep bought the whole kit replaced it all, im almost at the point of dropping the rear drums and converting it to rear disc

Take the wheel and drum and take pictures of all around the brakes.  Make sure to include parking brake parts in pictures as well.  If you can't fix a drum brake issue, good luck converting to disc brakes properly.
