After copying the card from my phone, learned that wma files will not read, not supported.  So loaded about 8 gigs of music on a 64 gb sdxc card from cd's using my laptop.  All those were in mp3 format.  Had tried loading a few on a smaller sdhc card before going through the effort and taking the time to put the music on a card and it worked fine.  For whatever reason the sdxc card is not being recognized.  Does the system not support the sdxc card, or is the card too large, or is there something else going on?

Thanks in advance for any insight.

I have no problems reading mp3 music from an SDXC card.  The infotainment manual states that USB devices may include those formatted in FAT32, NTFS or HFS+.  You might want to format your card with one of those three formats.  Many cards come formatted in EXFAT and may or may not work in GM units.

Thanks for the help.  The sdxc card is in exfat.  Reformatting it now, only option was for ntfs.  I looked in the manual and supplement for the infotainment system, really was not much information there about the sd card.

Any idea how big of a card can be used?  I have a 32GB in right now working, but tried a 128GB and won't work.

Check the format.  The 64 gb card I reformatted works.  Had to reformat it from exfat to ntfs.

It does take it a few seconds after first inserting the card for it to start reading, but once it gets goes on to allow browsing the entire card.
