AFE power muffler replacement

Flapper clamped open and screens covered for a while, 5.3 single exit exhaust.  I have wanting to replace the muffler and was just wanted advise on AFE and whether to cut out the flapper, cover screens or what? I'm wanting just a good exhaust sound without drone and any weird noises from fuel management.  I take this truck on trips with the family and want it to be manageable.  Thanks

Are you pleased with it worried about being too loud and getting drone or weird noises once i cut it out kinda tough going back. Any deals out there?  Where is the best place to buy?

I ordered the same muffler on Black Friday directly from AFE's website. They are currently out of stock and are producing more. I was told...5 weeks out. Haven't decided if I should cancel the order or not. I'm sure there's some kicking around somewhere.

In the same boat ordered a muffler delete direct from aFe, said it should be back in stock on December 18th so will see. Also have a single exit exhaust and 5.3. Planning to leave flapper valve in.
