ACDelco air filters

I own a 2nd hand GMC Sierra 1500, 4x4, 5.3, 4-door.  My question is will both the ACDelco A3181c air filter and the A3085c air filter fit and be proper for my vehicle?  I "think" the A3085c is maybe a heavy duty filter.  The current filter has AF5314 stamped on the paper filter -- which I think may be the wrong filter.  I need some help; these box store parts houses are no help.

Both filters will fit and "be proper"...your choice as to which one you want to use based on your driving conditions (normal around town/highway driving, get the OEM...off road/dusty conditions, get the heavy duty service...only about 30¢ difference at RockAuto)

A3181C is GM OEM filter

A3085C is heavy duty service filter

 

AF5314 is another option but it is an economy filter...probably changed along with an oil change at some quick lube joint and owner was charged premium price for it
