So I have ready just about every leveling thread and all I have done is confused myself.  As stated, I have a 2020 AT4 Crew Cab 6.5’ bed with the diesel.  There are a lot of notes on leveling kits that say they wont work on the diesel.  I read where some true lift kits won’t work because the transmission lines are run different for the diesel.  But why would a leveling kit be affected by the diesel.?

the shop I want to do the work is set on the FabTech leveling kit since it states it specifically works on the diesel.  Actually a different part number for the gas vs. diesel.  I wonder what’s different..?

and I know that when ever you swap out the UCA’s they rub the factory wheels..  does anyone know by how much?  Will a 1/4 spaces be enough or will I need actual bolt on wheel spacers.?

i was also looking at the Bilstein 5100’s.  They claim about a 1” lift at the highest setting.  Will that work with the factory UCA?

i want to use the factory 18’s with a 275/70 or 285/70 (33/34) inch tire.  I prefer not to use big spacers as I don’t want to chew the side of the truck up more then needed.

if you all have any other suggestions, please let me know.

thanks for the input,.

I installed the zone offroad 1.75" with the rough country forged UCAs. No problems whatsoever with the diesel.

You have an AT4 as well?  I see that the Zone kits now include UCAs.  Did they not when you got your kit?  Are you running factory wheels?   How is the clearance between the UCA and the tire?

I have the Elevation with the factory AT4 kit.  20 inch factory wheels and tire size 275/60-20. Approximately 1 inch clearance between the tire and UCA. I added the UCAs after I installed the level because I got nervous reading the stories of premature failure of the stock UCAs due to the additional stress from the AT4 lift plus level.  I went with the RC because I liked them better and I think they were less expensive.
