My truck had been in the shop, I just picked it up and got home, got out, pushed the button on the handle to lock it, and, nothing.  Unfortunately, I didn’t notice this before I left, and they’re not open until Monday morning.   I checked the manual and googled it both:  usual culprits are a dead battery in the fob, or it had been disabled. As the fob works to lock and unlock the doors, it’s not the fob’s battery that’s the problem.  I tried to enable the keyless entry per the manual’s directions of pushing and holding the lock and unlock buttons on the fob simultaneously, which would get the lights to blink, but, to no avail.  I tried checking the vehicle’s settings to change how the door locks behaved, still no luck.

Any thoughts on what else to try?   I’ll get up with the shop on Monday morning if need be, but I suspect there’s something simple I’m missing that would enable it....
