Hey guys. I have a 2019 Trail Boss that had bad rotors (already). Thea dealer said there were hot spots on the rotors that caused my complaint of pulsing when braking. Long story short, a fool can slap rotors on a truck, so I took it home and did it myself rather than paying them. I started the truck up and was immediately hit with brake system failure and all the warnings. I have had the recall performed and didnt start it with the app. Did I do something to hose this truck? Any thoughts would be appreciated. The truck brakes currently feel like my old 1971 Nova...with now power brakes.

Update: I came inside to curse at my computer and make this post...and now my brakes work. I still have the check engine light on but at least I can stop effectively...

Yes, a fool can slap on rotors but that doesnt mean it may have been done right.  You will need a scan tool to clear the codes set due to the brake system thought it lost pressure from you pressing the caliper pistons back in.

Disconnect the battery and let it sit for 30 minutes. On older models that would clear all codes, not sure on newer models.
