I've seen a few T1 around the Forum with quad tips and it's been tempting me. I love the look on my Vette and figured I would try it on my truck. Big thanks to @lapoolboy for providing the tips! Getting the factory tips off was a pain but putting the new ones on wasn't bad at all. I've got a friend who's a great welder and he made short work of the project. I really love the way they turned out and they made the exterior sound of my Corsa system just a hair deeper.

What tips are they? I've been debating on quad tips myself. The fake bumper tips chevrolet has just doesn't do it for me.

That, I'm not sure about. I bought them from @lapoolboy when they came off his truck. I believe he bought them from a local muffler shop. He may be able to give more details. There's a few options on Amazon as well.

Man love the look. I have been wanting to do this and I called Corsa  but they don’t make tips for our trucks with rear bumper exits. Let me know if you find any info out on what tips they are.
Truck looks really good!

That's crazy talk. The markup from the name-brand dealers is insane.

I went with quad rounded square. I thought they fit the body lines of the truck well. I love the look! Quad tips really fit great on these trucks with the stock tips removed.

That's a nice look.  Kinney Muffler in the DFW area does great work and I've already emailed them a photo.

LOL.  That's exactly where the tips came from!  Unfortunately, they don't sell/ship the tips online.  You HAVE to be an in-store installation customer.

That said, I believe the brand name is on my paperwork.  I'll dig it out and report back.  Maybe they can be sourced elsewhere.

I'm 20 minutes away from Kinney and a frequent flier because Kirk Robinson has touched virtually all my rods and customs.  His great exhaust work gets drive in customers from all over the country.

    • I understand that. The price is what it is, though. The price is what oil costs today, where our choices have led us, where supply is, and where demand is, in the market that is. Speculation is for futures, what we think the price will be, but with incomplete information at the time the price is forecast. I know you know this, but you appear to be intent on making a secondary point here about what you think the market could or should be, if only other choices.   In 1975 it became illegal to export US Crude. I'm conflicted on what the best answer is. Free markets allow export in pursuit of profit. But there is also a lot to gain by producing and consuming our own oil here. How do you reconcile it?
    • That sir is a choice. And even if it were not for all the reasons stated, this disruption has zero to do with the reality of the actual logistics and everything to do with the greed of SPECULATION. Spot price is irrelevant to reality.
    • What I think you're saying is there is supply here at home, and in Venezuela, and we could ease pricing if only it were favorable to do so.   Well, yes?   But that's not the current market. Supply isn't what could someday exist, if only, it's what producers are willing to produce and sell at a certain price point.   The national price of single family homes would come way down if we'd just slap together a few million homes this summer.   RAM and GPUs would get a lot cheaper if we just set up some factories to produce a bunch more and stopped using it to build out AI data centers.
    • The turn signal/multifunction switch is faulty.  I've seen a few of these go bad at work.
