Hi Guys

New to the forum. I have a 2020 Silverado double cab and installed the bilstien 5100 front 0-2.5 inch shocks. I put them on the top ring but I feel the car is lowered somehow. Ever heard of that?

A shock can't affect ride height. It doesn't support the truck.

A shock absolutely can affect ride height depending on where he set the spring perch snap ring.

I will take a before and after picture tomorrow. I have put it on the highest setting. That’s why I was surprised as I’ve used these shocks in previous cars and they give a noticeable lift especially on stock tires.

Please post the model number of the shocks you bought perhaps they are for a different application?

Able to take ground to fender measurements on a flat leveled surface ? The first picture with the slope makes it look a bit deceiving along with the color of the truck.
