Wheel change 2018 1500

Can I switch a set of OEM 20in rims for the 17s I have on it now?  Thinking I should be able to do it without problems except how much taller will it sit? It still has to fit in the garage.  I have a 2in leveling kit on it presently.

OEM 20's and 17's are almost exactly the same diameter (height).

 

265/70R17 = 31.6x10.4R17

265/65R18 = 31.6x10.4R18

275/55R20 = 31.9x10.8R20

285/45R22 = 32.1x11.2R22

 

This the odd size, 255/70R17 = 31.1x10R17.

It's not the wheel size that matters. It the diameter of your tires.

I’ve run 32.8” BFGKO2 285/70/17 on my truck with front lifted 1.85” from stock. No issues.

Any of those should be fine, my 2017 has a 1.5 inch level an 275/60/20 which is 32.99 inch tire and sits at about 80 inches tall which leaves about 4 inches to spare.in the garage
