Banks Derringer....issues?

Just installed derringer, pedal monster, and iDash on my 2020 L5P. It’s pretty insane now.

I’ve only driven maybe 2mi since installation and I have one concern. I pulled out onto highway with derringer at lvl6 and pedal monster at track lvl10. Did great. Then while cruising at 50mph, I mashed pedal to the floor and the truck didn’t much except fumble between gears violently. Scared me so I let off pedal and just drove home gingerly.

Anyone have issues with shifts after derringer?

I know coming when using other tuners on other vehicles you had to re learn the trans. This normally involved driving at 25% throttle up to speed then stop a few times, then the same at 50% and 75% before you hit full throttle. Reading about the derringer it doesn't seem that it is supposedly needed but I would try it, that is the way I had to do all of my other tuned trucks.

I have been running both since available and have not seen this. However, I don't run at track 10 going down the highway. I'd guess its a trans learning issue also. If it continues to have issues, just call banks. Awesome customer service!

Absolutely! I’ve already been chatting with 2-3 Banks people over the weekend. I ran derringer lvl3 and PM sport lvl5 all weekend. Not a single issue and wow the power and throttle response!

Will update more if there are issues.
