Integrated trailer brake controller

I would really like to put an intergraed brake controlled in my truck.  It has the wiring and the 7 pin plug to the back of the truck. But no controller in the cab.  Anyone else attempting this?

I just put a Tekonsha Prodigy P3 on mine. They have a harness with connectors on both sides. One plugs into the Prodigy and the other plugs into a connector on the firewall. That's all there is to it. Very simple. If you already have the factory 7 pin connector, it should be already wired for an aftermarket controller.

 

Now if you are talking about getting the factory controller and new panel that mounts in the area of headlight switch, it won't work.

It won't work. Many have tried , nobody has got it to work.

Just go buy a decent controller.

I have a Tekonsha Primus IQ in my stock truck and it works great. Get the wiring kit so it's plug and play.
