I have around 36,000 miles on my High Country and have had it in the shop for over 10 times for engine transmission communication issues.  It manifests itself by surging when accelerating and driving (at various speeds).   Additionally, the check engine light comes on and my remote start doesn't work.  Have others experienced this?

I just got it out of the shop (this is the 4th dealership) and they said it was low on oil and that was causing the camshaft to operate erratically.

I'm at my wits end, as I don't know who to see or what to do to fix this performance issue.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Start a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. Then GM has to take your claim seriously. This is what I did with a 2009 Pontiac G8 I had. They put a GM field rep on my case and got it fixed.

Remote start is unrelated. Anytime there is a check engine code it will not auto start
