I just recently purchased a 2020 gmc Sierra. It has the electronic tailgate and on some occasions I have to push it twice to open.
On the tailgate itself when I push the button it clicks as if it is releasing but doesn’t ( not even if I pull on it) when I push it agin it opens.
On the key fob I double click it then have to do it again for it to open.
Is this normal?
The Avalanche came during the time GM wasn’t afraid of trying new things. Once GM started producing more four door trucks. The suburban pickup wasn’t needed. So basically it’s covered in the suburban forum. I like the concept, I had two. I have the mini me with the Ridgeline. The GM feeling isn’t there. It’s really a thing. But reliability is.
I think they are pretty cool, like a 4wd Elcamino. I saw a new version on the hi-way about a month ago, it had dealer plates, wasn't called Avalanche but the bed body panels and the cab were all 1 piece, Most of the Avalanches and the Cadillac version have succumbed to rust here in the Northeast, the 1s that haven't are bringing decent $, Hi Doug
my 21 2.7 runs great, no issues, has 34,000 miles
ive read they get carbon build up. is that a big deal on the 2.7?
should i use injection cleaner in the fuel?
The filter under the OPS is for engines with AFM, which didn't start for trucks until 07.5
I think around '02/'03, when GM rejigged the computers and wiring, they also moved to a multi-pin OPS, but still didn't have the filter under it.
