Hey guys- I have a 2 week old AT4 and I love it other than the fact it sounds like a marble or a screw or something rolling around when I take turns behind the gauges or possibly in/around the steering column. I tried to reach my arm up under from around the pedals but I can’t reach or feel anything that might be loose or rolling around. Anyone know of how to remove some trim pieces around the gauges to check?

I would assume you checked both glove boxes, the center console and any other storage compartment?  I had a similar thing with my 2020 and un-known to me my son had put a golf ball in my center console.  He likes to hide things on me and play tricks....

Yes. This is clearly coming from around the gauge cluster area. It didn't make the noise for the first few days. Every time I turn something is clearly rolling around back there.

I worked as auto tech at car dealers for 12 years, we had a brand new Hyundai that had a noise under the seat, after stripping the seat and carpet, still something rolling around under where the seat is mounted, ended up cutting a hole in a enclosed brace/gusset under the seats, someone at the factory put a steel pinball in there before it was welded up, Hyundai had to buy the car back because we had to cut a structural part of the car out to find the noise and remove it.

Funny stuff right there.

Good lord I hope that's not the case lol. I didn't hear it for about the first 4-5 days

the trim piece above the cluster will pop straight up and give you access behind the cluster.

there is a panel on the far left side of the dash that pops off to give access to the fuse panel under there

once that's off you will see a couple of T15s that if removed will allow you to pop off the drive mode/headlight switch panel. after that I think there is another bolt and you can remove the speaker grill but the A pillar cover must come off first, remove the two small caps near where the handle connects and remove the two bolts, there is one last metal clip that is rather difficult to get off. use caution there as there's airbag components behind the pillar. once that's off the speaker grill can be removed. the speaker itself can also be removed once the grill is off, there's a cavity behind the speaker.

If you need to get in farther look up installation instructions for the Autostop eliminator (while you're at it, install one!) and you can see how to get the trim around the radio and the radio stack itself off.

that's as far as I've been into mine, but there are a few different areas to explore to try to find whatever is rattling. maybe a tech dropped a screw and couldn't find it anywhere, just got another one and kept on going. let us know if you ever find out what it is.
