Remote Turn on in an 01

Ok, I've peek under the Christmas tree and I've found an XM Commander!!! Yippee!

 

 

The XM is going in an '01 Z-71 Silverado. I've read all the posts here looking for which wire to use for a constant 12v and which one is the 12v ACC/Remote turn-on? I'm confussed between what is written about the 03, which is different and my 01.

 

So if anyone can give me specifics on the 2001 model, it'd be very very helpful!

 

Oh, and it isn't a Bose system, just the factory system with the in dash CD player and tape deck in the center console.

 

If your interested, I'll be running the XM through the AUX on the headunit buy using a PIE GM9-AUX interface.

For the wires you need...Go to install DR...Some pretty good info there.

On the radio harness connector:

 

Orange = Always hot

Dk. Green = switched power (with the timed delay after ignition off)
