Engine hours pops up on the dash display when I start up my 21 Sierra.  Is there a way to turn it off? I have the Engine hours option unchecked in the info panel menu but it still comes up on startup.

It is what it is.. simply "get used to it" unfortunately.  It bugged me at first but I don't even notice it now

EDIT: While the data is likely from the ECM (locked down) I do believe the display itself is coming from the BCM so there is a chance it can be disabled with WAMS

The one that you unchecked was a DIC screen. So you won't see it as you scroll through there. The one that comes on when the door opens is so that you don't have to have a key or keyfob to get that info when needed. As when it's on the lot new or used or when in for service.
