Tone settings don't retain

The tone settings for my 2021 Trail Boss Custom do not remain set once the I change radio channels and turn off the truck. Is this normal for the inexpensive Custom model?

I had the same issue and I think my truck, GMC Sierra 1500, was still in “demo mode.”  There’s also a setting for “maximum” start volume or Something like that.  May check your manual or settings to see if you have something like that.

No not normal.  Sounds like the radio is in demo mode still.  You can also try that video posted too and clear the data.

had similar issues where the volume would go back to 0 as well and the company finally agreed there was a problem and supposedly reflashed some chip .... it works fine now.

how In the world do I get out of demo mode . Same issue is happening to me
