'14 Silverado LT BU Camera OEM Install

So I'm new here so hello everyone.  This has probably been BTD, but I'll reach out anyway. I purchased a used '14 Silverado LT Z71. No factory installed BU Camera. I purchased the camera and installed myself. I am a supervisory equipment mechanic by trade for 34 years. It was a very simple install, 30 minutes tops. The truck has an I04 option code on the tag so the camera should of been plug and play with a flash at a local dealer. Took it to the dealer and they cant make the camera work. I had the key fobs programmed as well.  Almost $500 later, and the camera still doesn't work. They claim they could not get the flash to work even after talking to GM Tech. I'm at a loss and don't want to spend any more money on "troubleshooting" if it is a hardware issue.

RPO code for BU camera needs to be added first follow by an HMI update. 

 

My question is, does anyone have a phone number we can call to have the RPO code added without going to the dealer?

I can't imagine a phone call for an update would be possible - dealer, definitely.
Still, my Autosync, with HMI and BCM unlock does allow for a lot of customizing but it ain't cheap.
I have an IO5 so I'm not sure it has that capability for the BU cam as I already have that.
In this case, the dealer is the way to go, sadly.

not all 2014's were wired for the camera, check to make sure the wires are there
