I purchased a 2020 Silverado RST 6.2 Black Widow last week and if course have been spending time researching mods lol.

I don't seem to find much info on tuner Options for this truck.

Is it not worth the money to bother with a aftermarket tuner like diablo , Superchips, etc?

Any info/feedback is appreciated.

Thanks!!

unless something has changed in the last couple of months,  nobody makes a tuner for any dfm engine.  the only way to tune one is buy the hyper tech ecm to replace the factory one.  it's expensive and comes with a stock tune,  you have to pay more for the tune,  which is also expensive.   you'll have about 5k in it before your done and that dose not count exhaust and intake systems

Then I must be really confused here are links to Diablo and Superchip they both seem to have an option .... I just haven't heard a lot about them that's why I was asking... Unless I'm totally on the wrong path?

If you have any care about your powertrain warranty, you won't want to tune it.

Surprised I haven’t heard anything about these on this forum. Is anyone running them? Any feedback??

My thoughts exactly....I am confused that there is no feedback/info or even threads inquiring??

I have been trying to find info on other forums also, but still nothing.....

Looks like tuning may be a dieing mod as the years of encryption progress 😂😢

I just went and read up on the Diablo,  weird that it says in the "overview" that it adds up to 45hp,  but then when you go to "features" it says 6.1hp on 93 octane.  I don't think it would be worth $700 for an amount of hp that I don't think you could even feel,  but that's just my thought's

I personally haven’t done this because I don’t want to deal with the hacked ECM exchange, and no powertrain warranty all for a few ponies. Just not a good risk / reward for the price. Think most of us probably feel the same since these trucks have had their issues already.

If you do go for it, you might as well go all the way and do supporting mods.
