Matthew Ball Posted August 24, 2021 Posted August 24, 2021 Can i take a motor and tranny from a 2000 2 wheel drive dodge ram 1500, and put it in a 93 chevey cheyanne?
Jsdirt Posted August 24, 2021 Posted August 24, 2021 You can do whatever you want with enough drive, and the will to MAKE it happen!

Jsdirt Posted August 25, 2021 Posted August 25, 2021 Yep, it was late when I wrote that. Forgot to start that off with, "With a big enough bank account, plenty of free time, ... "
JimCost2014 Posted August 25, 2021 Posted August 25, 2021 Unless the drivetrain was free, sounds like a lot of work for 2 pretty old trucks. If you don't have the whole wiring harness from the Dodge, think you are dead in the water before you even start.
KARNUT Posted August 25, 2021 Posted August 25, 2021 First thing is emissions what are the requirements for the area. Tailpipe check it should pass no problem. Motor mounts, transmission mounts drive shaft mods, check. The wire harness is a must. It has to be a hemi otherwise why bother. Put a 6.0 in it. I’d do it. There are so many hemi engines out there it’s probably cheaper to go that route.
